What do you think I will get the more horsepower/better drive
This is my daily driver because its my only car lol.

Options:
(Also im trying to stay under 1000 dollars)

1. GMPP or Magnaflow Catback + Injen CAI (Like 900) w/o shipping
2. CAI + 2.4 Intake Mani + Header DP Combo, Tri Tune (1060ish) w/o shipping
3. Header + Downpipe +Exhaust + Tune (1200) w/o shipping
4. Suggest something

 

i would do nothing if you only want to spend a grand on a 2.2. it will yield very little results.

 

^yep. if ur gonna spend a grand, go w/ a supercharger or turbo kit. thats gonna be at least 1500(supercharger) or 2500(turbo). but u will actually get gains from it.

well. save the money and buy SC parts. or zzp midlength and CAI and 2.4 mani and tune if your wanting to stay N/A.

 

I will probally get the Midlength, CAI, 2.4 Mani, and Tune then since my mom is bitching at me because she doesnt understand that I know my car runs fine and she sees no point in getting new parts.

Question with the Tri Tune,

Its like 300 dollars but thats just like collateral isnt it?
They send the kit after I send the money but do I get the money sent back once I send the tuner back?

nitrous. retain all daily driveability. and pick up way more whp than you will with all of those parts combined

 

i would do any version of the above, save some more money and save the mani and tune for last. my .02

 

except if he hurts the car...in normal circumstances....yes, but with all the questions he is asking, he is way to inexperianced to mess with n2o and not have problems...he is risking damage to the car when he doesnt have the means to fix it when it breaks...

Although dont you have to get nitrous refilled? Costing more money in the long run? Plus nitrous doesnt do anything for me I dont race on the track I just want a better ride and be able to show up some people that think they are tought ****.

If you are thinking like thats all im getting my mom to spend your wrong. Its my money its just she is being really bithcy about me buying 1700 in parts but would be ok with new rims and tires for 1000 or less so im trying to find my best option for under 1000 or so and less and try to convince her.

Well just going to through this put there I only have like 3200 dollars so minus 1000 of parts leaves me like 2200 and then half of the insurance on my car next month like 300 so I would have like 1900 leaves me enough if something goes bad with my car I have the money to pay for it and I need to save for college. so yeah

And if you need to save for college, why not do that now, then get parts or a better car later... Do you really want a bigger loan payment after graduation?

 

You pretty much said the same thing I was thinking a while ago after she said no to 1700 dollars and that why dont I just want until I go to college and move out and maybe get a nice new car.

Still deciding though since my balt has 44k miles now I will still have it for a while so I might try and get the Midlength DP Header com, CAI, and tune then maybe 2.4 mani later.
