2.4>2.0

although i have been told a few times, now my car sounds like a srt-4

i have a 3in high flow cat, 36in magnaflow resonator, and 3in 5x9 magnaflow race muffler out back... and a turbo of course

my car gargles pops and growls just like an srt-4 with muffler delete. but mine is much quiter the higher the rpm go.

yeah i had a 2.4...even that exhaust sounded worse then stock ss/tc

takes a turbo to make a car sounds really good..or more then 4 cylinders.

take out your muffler, swap it for a resonator, and straight pipe

turbo manifold design, bore, stroke, valve size, lift, duration....all effect sound. The 2.4 in the srt-4 is one of the "larger" sounding 4 cylinders I have ever heard. That doesn't mean you can't make an lnf sound good....just don't expect to get the same sound.

no kidding... but dont they not like to rev high either? isnt stock power drop off at or before 5500 or something? thats worse than the lnf.

Test pipes mean a cat delete IIRC. I think mine sound pretty mean a WOT. It did on the dyno last time and it had a cat, now it is a little louder.

Thought so. Resonator Delete is not a test pipe.
