View Full Version : TC Catback Exhaust Question yahmule2003 05-21-2009, 01:27 PM I have some confusion on what cat back systems work on the 08-09 TC cars. Will the SC cat back systems work or are the exhaust systems being constructed specifically for the TC cars (backpressure, sound, anything different on the mounting/hanging...)? Doesn't seem like there is much out there and what is out there is $800+. Ted (the owner) took about an hour out of his day to show us the shop and dyno building along with a SS/SC turbo conversion. I really doubt Ted would put his name on anything thats junk, i'm sure it will be a quality exhaust. Mike09SS 05-23-2009, 06:54 PM If its power your after dont bother with a catback. Go with a downpipe. Our stock catback flows very well. You wont see very much of a gain at all by upgrading. maybe 3-5HP. Downpipe not only upgrades the sound, but will improve your power by around 10-15 WHP. Its cheaper as well. Goodluck. |
