ok I looked and looked..

Ok so ive searched and searched and couldnt find a thread on it, there might be one but cant find it.

Anyways I Have a tiny problem, its not a huge problem but it would make my life hella easier. Anyways I live in florida and right now its kinda starting to flood. And it got me to thinking..well damn when it floods im afraid of hydro lock regardless this is florida afterall.

So I have the injen CAI that can go SRI, whats the easiest way to change it back to SRI, without having to mess with the fender well?

easyest way would be to do it rite. take the full cai out and turn it into the SRI.. doesnt take that long at all to get the fender liner off.

meh its not that it doesnt take long, its that its still kinda wet outside, and the fact that messing with it becomes a pain in the ass to me, it never seems put on right whenever i mess with it, seems like a bolt is missing or something. I dunno..figured there would be an easier way.

Its not even just to change it from CAI to SRI either, there's gotta be an easier way, i dont wanna have to mess with the fender when i just wanna clean the filter for example..

They make a "filter" that goes in between the two pipes but i couldn't tell you where to get one.

honeslty man you dont need to take the fender well off all you need to do is take off the light and the filter will drop to the floor thats how i took mine off its easier then doing that. and for blkls aem makes it all you need is to find what size of pipe you have

^ what he said. the only reason you had to take apart the fender liner was to take that bong out, after that all you have to do is take the headlight out and the filter is right under it.

I did mine through the headlight hole, there is no need to remove the fender liner.

the hardest part of the switch over from cold air to short ram would be getting the headlight to sit perfectly and not break anything. lol.
