I want to put an after market radio in my car, but i dont want to affect the stearing wheel mounted controls, anyone know if there is a way to not make those controls useless?

but yes some after market radios will allow you to use the steeting wheel functions with an extra wiring harness i think

Hmm.. When I worked at CC as a car person (only for a little while..lol) I remember us not having the ability to keep the stock wheel controls. Might wanna start by checking out metra's website - metraonline.com.

You could go to a local bestbuy (i think BB carries metra too) and ask forsome help there.

 

there should be a kit in crutchfield and bestbuy should have one i recommend either alpine or kenwood.

 

you need to buy a PAC adapter and hook it up... From what i hear they arent that bad to install
