whats the widest tire i can go on a 2005 ls with a 15 inch rim????? help please

that is a 15x6 rim... I wouldnt go wider than a 215/50-15

He's got a 15" wheel... 235s are for our cars

That's pushing it IMO... I would go 205 just to be safe. Otherwise, upgrade wheels

k thanks guys i have really worn snow tires and light rain= ditch for me...no damage luckaly .....its time for tires....thanks guys...any recomendations? for kinda cheep....they have to do well in light snow too....thanks again!

Yeah an 8.4 inch wide tire is a bit big for a 6" rim. Fat tires just look so sexy.

like it was said, khumos are among the cheapest. Or you can go to your local pepboys and get some futura's. If you want some good traction for snow and rain, thinner tires are better. Wider tires are good for dry traction/handling. So I'd suggest keeping your OEM tire size, it will be cheaper too
