Exclamation wax on windshield issue...

so, i'm guilty of bein lazy a few times and goin to the local automatic car wash and gettin the top wash, which includes the multi color pretty wax stuff, and so it sprays on your windshield, and seeps through the glass over time, and causes everything to look foggy, and on humid summer nights it always fogs up and gets blurry as hell... its really bad, and i dont know how to clean this stuff off, its annoying, it makes my windshield wipers jump and skip, and all the problems above. super, super annoying. if i spray degreaser on my windshield and scrub it, will it eventually get all the wax out?

yeah, but have you ever noticed how like at night it makes everything glare like crazy, and on humid summer nights it fogs up? i have been fighting this issue for a long time, and i hate it when i get wax on my windshield. as soon as i clean it, it fogs right back up.

you can clay the windows or use a 50/50 mix of water and isotropy alcohol (rubbing alcohol) both of them will remove the wax.

thank you... i know there is more people out there that have this issue, and believe me, it sucks. its always nice to have a nice, fog free, streakless, squeaky clean windshield.
THANK YOU!

QFT....

i use the alcohol method because its a little cheaper but it requires much more elbow grease...

I'm a little late one this post but this really works.
Mr. Clean majic eraser made easy work of cleaning all of the wax and water spots on my windows. Just don't use it on paint or the inside of your windows (if you have tint)
