so my buddy jus traded in his 2012 kia forte coup aka pos for a ms3 he's been taking mad **** about how quick his car is and how'd he spank me so final we put it to the test i have a 05 lsj jus bolt ons Ingen intake zzp long tubes and Tsudo exhaust. Now I've raced a lnf sedan and got waxed so i did expect to lose but my buddy can't drive for **** lol love him but i get whiplash jus from him driving normally lol. so we started from a 40 i was in second we go I instantly put a car on him shift to 3rd he pulls up a little he on my quarter panel toping 3rd he's jus getting to my door shift to 4 th and he doesn't move we let off at 130ish. now i have 170 k on my car AND clutch, is this a typical result for stock ms3's? or is my buddy driving really hurting that car lol

He also ran out and spent 300 on a kn intake and wants to rematch lol

 

ms3 are slooooowwww get a tune and pulley down a bit and wax him

 

Well im kinda going holset turbo haha he saving up for corksport stg 2 kit and a off the shelf tune

 

Im selling my sc kit to my other friend who has a lt auto how will that do with a 2.9 thats what i told him to get once we swap it on his car

On the 2.2 you wanna stay above a 3" pulley unless he's building it

And i know a intake wont do anything but he believes it added 23 hp cause thats what k and n paper says lol

I ran a turbo swapped BNRs3 MS3 the other day and pretty much had a bus on him from a 60 at the top of 3rd. I expected it to be a little closer with the bigger turbo, I think he did too.

Before the race he told me that if he was running his E85 tune it would be a "walk fest" lol.

But good kill op, putting down turbo cars with a blower is a good feat in itself.

Yea haha hes my best friend so its a fun rivalry even though i have yet to lose to any car hes had haha but at the end of day got a good friend to drink beers with and work on cars haha with rematch it should be interesting with lower temps when we first ran it was 90 out and my car was already heat soak cause i jus got of work and drove home changed out a suit then went and raced haha he was probly heat soaked to cause that dumb tmic
