turbo timer...help
turbo timer...help
so i installed my turbo timer and i got it all hooked up it works but heres my issue...when it comes on it engages my theft system in my car when i shut the car off. the theft system obviously works so it shuts the fuel to the car off and the engine shuts off before the timer is finished counting...anyone else have this issue and/or know the fix?
I got mine professionally installed. I have an HKS one. Ive had some problems too, like when the timer shuts off the doors unlock. but I never had that problem.
maybe take it to a person who knows a lot about car electronics and maybe he can figure it out?

the problem with turbo timers on our cars is that they have newer technology in them. apposed to the older jdm cars that didnt have as much relays or separate ignition wires that do different things. The older ones certain wires did certain things that were easily identifiable, now we have 2 or 3 wires that used to only be one.
I guess theres always an upside and downside to owning a newer vehicle.

I have the AUTOPAGE RS-1000, It comes with a built in turbo timer... When I exit the car I just hold down a button on the transmitter and it keeps the car running for 10mins, after that the alarm arms itself and its done.
