My dad's a GM employee in the states. He's going to get me the parts and I'm going to have Dan Kane install them. They've been pretty good so far, didn't give me any hassle when they installed my control arm bushings and they did a great job!

Mine is wobbly on the right side also! The double sided tape didn't hold. I either have to get it fixed or take it off, because it's going to wear through the paint from vibrating up and down. I'm considering going wingless. I like the clean, understated look.

i dynoed my car today 240whp 211 ft.lbs not bad

Igor.. you should be making more than that.. I dynoed at 231hp and 216ft.lb torque.. with just an aem intake.. what fuel were you using? I was on 94 Sunoco for that dyno day.. but run 91 V Power on a steady basis..

Hey buddy! Yah I remember trying to chase you down on Tecumseh Rd. It was funny cause I was behind you on Tecumseh near Jefferson then you took off straight through the turning lane at the lights....never thought I was gonna catch up with all the traffic. Did you find the Stage 2 kits on e-bay I was talking about? One just sold for $400 US. I had mine shipped to my friends house in Michigan...took about 3-4 days.(not sure about Canada shipping times) You won't be dissapointed with this kit. When you get it installed let me know...maybe I can talk to my salesman and get you the same deal I got @ Dane Kane. (where did you buy your car?) The kit does come with the authorization code for reflash.

I'm not sure when the Windsor guys will meet again? We did it a few weks ago and have not planned anything else. A few of us might drive down to Columbus Ohio on Oct. 27 for a meet, you are more then welcome to join us. Check for more details under the OHIO thread.

Just bought it off Ebay, same seller that sold one to you. The difference will be that I'm having it shipped directly to Windsor. It will probably be a week or two until I see it. Instead of $30 USD, it was $45, no biggie. Hopefully it doesn't take too long.

Isn't USPS on strike or something? I asked for it to be shipped via Fedex / Purolator / UPS, so far he's been right on top of things. Answering mail within hours.

The same seller used Fedex for mine. If he uses UPS or maybe even Fedex(?)to Canada be prepared to pay a brokerage fee and the GST at the door upon delivery. Tell him to make the value for customs like $15 dollars..just put down injectors and belt. They rarely check and this will save you $$ to be collected at the door. Just a thought...something the UPS man told me. I learned the hard way.... He will probably use Fedex...you can call Fedex to get an idea of what charges to expect at the door.

I hear Dan Kane, or Reaume Jones.. but I wouldn't pay more than $300, tax included.. but that's just me.. Cause' i'm gettin' my stuff installed elsewhere.. it doesn't void the warranty or anything.. but the Stage2 PARTS will only be warranted for 12month/20k.. that's the whole deal when ya pay a lot of money.. i could give two shits if a pulley broke.. or a belt snapped.. ya, like that's likely.. running 1000hp maybe..

It does void the warranty bud. While you have the part warranty left, if something goes wrong with the engine in general and they trace it back to a faulty Stage 2 kit install then you're SOL. I believe that's the catch.

And yes, thanks again Darren, Dan Kane did it for $100 less than the list price of $384 + tax. They quoted me $284 + tax, which ended up being $326 tax included (there was some sort of $1 and change in "environmental fees").

It's a whole new car man, after the kit, I don't recognize it at all and I LOVE IT!! It pulls SOOO hard in second through the rest of the gears. I've seen over 100 kpa boost now, which is +15 psi. I can't say i've taken it past 6250 either, my foot is still trained for the old rev limiter. :twothumbs

Also, in second gear I seem to have a two tier pull. The first tier which pins you into the seat is from when I hit the gas until about 4000 rpm, from there it just sinks the passenger into the seat all the way up to the red.

It will be Black with the Black inserts,Sunroof,Tinted windows.I guess I got the last black one in Canada or so I was told.And the ugly ass High polished rims.I was disappointed I couldn't get the "gun metal" rims or whatever.

Are the fog lamp bulbs hard to get at?I know on my Cavalier they were(are) hard to reach.Just wondering because when I get my car I want to put 4 of the bright bulbs on the car(Headlights and fog lamps).Or is there no way to put the bright bulbs in there?

The fog light is relatively easy to get to.. but from my understanding, good luck finding an aftermarket bulb.. its an H11.. not many companies make them.. except Sylvania.. and they are just stock OEM replacement..

I picked it up.Got on the express from Reaume and hardly pressed the gas and was just chugging along and looked down at my speed...Wow 130 and it felt like nothing.

I was having 2nd doubts about getting it.But as I was leaving I had to get gas to get to Reaume.And there it was.A black SS/SC just like mine was going to be(Only with the Gun metal rims mine has the High polished).It was like a sign from God =) to get it

I've installed a nice tip on the muffler.. and WOW.. there is another difference.. the damn exhaust aint so loud no more lol.. it was jusr resonating inside the bumper before into the car.. now it actually sounds very nice.. not rice at all.. and the price I paid through www.crateenginedepot.com was amazing.. it was only $396.30 shipped to the UPS Store right out by the tunnel in Detroit.. guys.. its a wise investment.. at least for the gain and price.. can't go wrong.. and total cause i declared it and cause the girl was being a bitch was $55 in duties.. and then $5 at the UPS Store for them recieving it.. which is nothing compared to what you'd have to pay here for brokerage.. btw, if you do buy it, make sure he separates the shipping charges on a separate bill then the one for the exhaust.. cause you pay duty on the full amount.. shipping and product.. so yea..

Well had the car for 2 days.The Check engine light came on.So I pull over turn off the car check to make sure the gas tank lid didn't pop open or anything.Get back in still on.Try doing that a few more times during the day.Called Reaume,took it in.I have to get something called a Catalic converter or something fixed next week.He said there's been problems with it in the SS/SCs.Anyone else had a problem with it?

i bent my rear axle, i was drivin last week and i made a left turn into some really small street and i didnt see the black ice and i hit the curb pretty hard so now i need a new axle

As for oil, i stocked up at part source when they had a sale on mobil 1. I bought a couple boxes, and it ended up working out to $5.50/L canadian taxes in.

Its under warranty considering I've only driving close to 100 KMs so far since I got the car.I would hope its considered under warrarty or I'd be pissed.So it really doesn't matter.They said it takes like an hour to fix

Got a K&N Typhoon intake in the mail and planning on gettin stage 2 soon. the 2.0 ecotec is pretty bad ass :guns:
I did notice that it does not like 87 octane from shell (probably anything under 91 in general).. at all lol the first time I filled it I forgot it required 91+ cause of the lower comp. ratio so it ran decent under normal driving conditions, but it misfired like crazy when WOT so the last 2-3 tanks have been 91 and havent had the problem since, also just curious where do you guys fill up??

You can't go worng with 91, use nothing less. I use 94 from Sunoco, but might start using 91 cause it's getting expensive...lol
