the 2005 cobalt SS S/C's haven't even started showing up at the dealers like they were supposed to but in a few more months, shouldn't the 2006 cobalt SS S/C's be in production? i want to wait for a 2006 cobalt SS S/C but im not sure when they would come out with all of the delays with the 2005 and all so i dont want to wait too long. i was hoping to have a cobalt SS S/C by august.

also, does anyone know of any changes that might be made on the 2006 cobalt SS S/C?

 

i would guess there just gonna change the year listing and leave it as it is.
or hey, maybe they will adjust the boost or something for 06.

 

I believe they start making the 2006 models in June.

 

This sounds about right. The Cavi's used to start showing up mid to late summer, and six weeks out of June would put them at the dealerships mid July to August.

I'd say SS S/C models for sure....who knows when the SS will finally come out (2009?)

2005 Model Year Cobalt Final Production Date

Dealers will be able to consense (agree to accept allocations) for their buildout 2005 Cobalts in early May, 2005.

Allocations available during the May consensus will be available for production June 6 thru June 17, 2005.

The final date of 2005 production is June 17, 2005.

Dealers will be able to view their final, actual allocations on May 18, 2005.

Dealers will see their first allocations (if they have them available) within which they can approve orders on May 19, 2005.

2006 Model Year Cobalt Startup Production Date

Dealers will be able to consense (agree to accept allocations) for 2006 Cobalts in May, 2005.

Dealers will be able to view their final, actual allocations on June 16, 2005.

Dealers will see their first allocations (if they have them available) within which they can approve orders on June 16, 2005.

Allocations available during the May consensus will be available for production July 25 thru July 31, 2005
