i had this pop up on my dash at like 3,000 miles only after i played with my car not ,i really dont beat on it but i do a couple runs just feel the need 4 speed lol but it came up but when i shut it off it disppears for a while and it would come back..... i see no signs of brake fluid leaks, the master is like a little low but i dont wanna put any brake fluid in just yet. but its not enough 2 be half way 2 be signs of brake job... even though i have 7,000 now front and rear pads are good... i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

 

 

Well, if I understood you correctly (serious, grammar... use it), I got the same thing once, never came up again though. I also got the SVC ESC light, and took it into the dealer, where they recalibrated the sensors. I would take it in, the computer will show them the history, and they can diagnose from there.

 

I had would get the service ESC / Brake System / and Traction Control message on the DIC. It was totally at random. Didn't matter how long I sat before taking off, the weather, the way I drove it. Nothing mattered.
I took it in. Mind was a Brake Pressure sensor for the ESC. It's located inside a module. They just replaced the entire module.
What was causing it was an occasional voltage spike caused by that sensor.
YOUR problem though could be something totally different. I really doubt it's anything you'll be able to diagnose yourself unless you are a mechanic or GM tech - something like that.

I DID actually have it come back on once since then. But only that one time.

 

i had service esc once it flashed for a second, and my cruise stoped working for about 5 minutes, then everything went back to normal, it had a brain fart. lol
