so i bought a cai

and my car seems to be running like crap since i put it in.. it dosnt seem like its getting more air it actually seems like its getting less air, and bogging down..i posted a link with the inake from ebay.. im thinking its the black rubber boot. its so flimzy that i think its squishing when its being held open and sucking for air... anyone have any trouble with this intake?

Have you tried unplugging the battery for 15+ minutes? You could also try resetting your fuel trims with HP Tuners.

Also, make sure you didn't install your MAF sensor upside down.

Go in first and retighten everything make sure it's all sealed up nice and tight. Make sure the MAF is installed properly, disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes and try again.

You can't expect to get quality parts from eBay. There's rare exceptions but why risk it?

problem solved. took off the intake and did a air box mod.. runs fine now..anyone wanna buy a intake? lol

you should get the rebel auto works intake it cost more then other intakes but it is 3in and stainless steel
