Cobalt pics from NY Auto Show
Hey guys,
Just got back from the New York International Auto Show. Great show as usual, they had the Cobalt SS S/C there this year (actually 2 of them), and you could actually sit in it and check everything out!!
The car is looks even better in person than it does in pictures. The two SS S/Cs that they had there were both Victory Red - one had the regular seats (colored inserts) while the other had the Performance package with the Recaros, plus it had the optional sunroof.
The exterior quality was great - perfect paint and nice tight body panel gaps. The interior was also very high quality, but you could tell that it had been through a couple of auto shows before
I was very impressed with the quality of the leather seats, much better than some people have described them to be. The shifter had a nice feel to it, as did the clutch - nice and tight, yet not so stiff that it would make an uncomfortable everyday driver. The throws were short and precise, and the reverse lockout was easy enough to use.
Heres the pics, sorry about the size
: (I would have taken more, but the Flash Card that I was using only holds 38

Perhaps its the same with the stereo knobs
Thanks to the Mod that hyperlinked the pics. I tried to set them as clickable thumbnails, but it didn't quite work. And as was mentioned, the pics are huge, so 56K beware...

It looked the same way on the blue one in another post I checked out.. Not good.
I think the color variance you noticed has to do with the camera flash - when the light reflects off of the different surfaces, they appear to be different hues. Being that the seats are leather and the door panels are vinyl, the flash magnifies the slight texture and color difference that is not really noticeable in person
