I picked up my Cobalt SS/SC yesterday as well
Rally Yellow with Ebony/Yellow inserts. Looks amazing!
I'm learning to drive a manual transmission on the fly with the Cobalt SS/SC so I'm probably not the best person to give a true opinion on it's performance, but, from what I was able to do with it while driving it around yesterday, I was impressed. It is very quick to reach the higher speeds while driving on city streets and has a nice, smooth feel to it. Throws are very short and, even for a beginner like myself, pretty easy to shift through. In order to get into Reverse, you have to lift up a ring underneath the shift knob which I thought was kinda strange, was under the assumption that only six-speeds needed to either be pushed down/lift ring to get into Reverse. Clutch seems like it releases quite high but I could be wrong about that (Either way, I've already had a handful of stalls trying to engage the clutch). All in all, for those of you still waiting on yours, trust me and the others who will tell you this, the car is worth the wait. I waited over 8 months and I'm so glad that I did. Great, great car!

I would like to know this as well, what are you guys paying a month for the SS's? Dont have to give exact numbers. But a ball park range..

I know for me it's hard to say. I had a big trade in plus random discounts. It's pretty easy to figure out the payments for the car, take the msrp and deduct tradein allowance and down payment. Then just use a loan calculator. This will give you the worst case senario. I can tell you that GMAC only had 5.9% finance and I went to a credit union and got a point lower. I have pretty good credit too for someone who doesn't own a home.

Thats why you see deals like $2000 cash back or 0.9% APR.
If you go to get a car loan via a credit union or bank you will not get 2.8%
