Just starting to mod! New to SS.net
Hey everyone been reading this forum for a while. I bought my 2006 SS/sc cobalt with the LSD recaro seats package in November of 2005. Well I finally started to mod and I bought everything ( to start ) all at once and it's almost finished with step one of my project.
K&N cold air intake
ZZP mid length header and down pipe combo magnaflow cat back exhaust.
OTTP stage 3 ( new one not the TVS,for the M63)
60# injectors
2.7 pulley
Gen 4 heat exchanger
Also removing most of the GM logos and replacing with decepticon emblems and badges.
any other recommendations are greatly appreciated. Will be a daily driver I just,like the rest of us want more umph!
However I don't know a whole lot about modding,my hot rod buddy is helping me and finds it fun since he usually does old muscle/hot rods.
Things I'm interested in doing are, camming and possibly nitrous. I just want to know what I can do with stock internals or what internals should be done to prevent blowing my motor up.

I was thinking about that. The Dual pass looks like a pain in the ass. Do I need a dual pass for the option B?

I'm a little nervous and have reservations about meth. This is also my daily driver.
After setting everything up driving it around a little not getting WOT too heavy or going too wild my check engine light came on. Which I'm guessing is from high IAT2 temps. So since I'm a noob and willing to listen.
What exactly are the pros and cons to a meth set up and how much do they cost to have a speed shop install? How user friendly are they? Maintance,does it work on it own or do I have to press a button to make it do its thing? I also think my SC coolant pump isn't working and ordered one a couple days ago even before hand just to have a new one. and also ordered an aeroforce interceptor gauge but it's F-ing back ordered. Thanks guys. I'm sure there is a bunch of other threads on all my questions so don't crucify me lol

I have other issues now smh. check engine light came on so I took it to an auto parts store and scanned it and it's a P1182 super charger inlet pressure sensor performance. I cleared it and drove home ( it's probably a mile and a half away) and then drove normal didn't even crack the throttle and eng power reduced came on and could only drive 30 miles per hour.
Will P1182 cause the power reduced? Also I believe my coolant pump is bad and ordered one I keep having to add coolant

Ok so I finally got my car back and after the good and bad step one of my project. Basic mods and tune.
This thing is night and day different holy s***. I should have done this sh** years ago lol.
Now I need to get more advanced and do head work cams and valve springs and water meth inj

It's like a completely different car. I only drove it for like an hour on way home but it's night and day from stock. The ottp tune felt like stock the way it is now does not at all feel like stock lol
