Throttle Bodys

Ok so here's the deal I have the 2.4 intake manifold swap on my 2.2 running a 2.2TB. My question is besides swapping the 2.4TB does anyone know if there is any other TBs that bolt up to the 2.4 manifold? Also does anyone know of a place online that sells the 2.4 TB used or cheap because I don't feel like paying GM $120 for a brand new one and I can't seem to find any in the junkyards around here and I ve also tried some websites with no luck either. Any help is welcome. Thanks.

look for one in the FS section, besides that either a junkyard or dealer, not many options if your looking for new, and no other TB will bolt up directly, but u can buy the ZZP adapter to intall a LSJ TB on a 2.4 intake manifold, which will let you run the LSJ throttle body, if your a 05-06 with a 8pin pigtail on the TB, this will work fine with just a rewire, if you have the 7pin, than you need to buy a 8 pin harness and rewire it again, only difference if you have 1 low refrence, and the 8 pin has 2, so u would just "T" that one low refrence into 2 and run it to the 8pin pigtsail

Thanks for your input. I thought about the idea of buying that plate and then getting the LSJ TB but they want $130 for the plate and then I would have to add the cost of an LSJ TB. But then again if i could get one for cheap I could probably get away with the whole thing for under $200 so I guess thats not too bad what do you thing the overall gain would be I m guessing maybe between 5-10HP seeing as zzp advertises a 2-7HP gain going from a LE5 TB to a LSJ TB where as I m going from an L61 TB to an LSJ TB. Oh and one other question is there a write up/how to on the rewiring? Oh sorry fogot to include that I have the 8 pin.

i dont believe there is very much gain from running a larger tb on the 2.2, and even the 2.4 will throw a code if you dont tune for it
looking at your sig, i would say that money makes more sense in buying an exhaust

120 isn't that bad at all, the tb for a late 90's early 00's xj/xk is 1500 bucks...and it still uses a cable....

can you imagine how much a ferrari or lamborghini TB is. from what i've seen in pics of their engine bays ferrari and lambo use the same exact TB. look identical. not a thing is different.
