What size tires?? ss/sc

Aside from the OEM tire size, what other sizes safely fit on the stock ss/sc rims?

I've been looking for tires and cant find anything that talks about what plus size tire will still fit the stock rim. There's just not a lot of options and i know other sizes are less expensive, so i would like to go that route.

Also i know how to figure out the speedometer changes, thats a non-issue.

Thanks for the info guys. Much appreciated!
Bill

i think dont quote me, but i heard that 245/40/18 is the biggest. and with that you might rub when you turn hard

i think you made a typo but yes. 245 40 is the largest and will likely rub. besides, they will look like ass on a stock wheel. much too wide. I just bought 225/40/18s for mine, a lil smaller than stock.
225/40/18 will be smaller but wider. about 2% shorter than stock.
235/40/18 is exactly stock diameter and will have no problem fitting, just will look fat on the rim.
225/45/18 is going to be a bit larger than stock but alot of people run them.

I run 225/45/18's with no problems. They seem to ride a bit better than the 40's too.

The SS/TC comes with 225/40/18 not 225/45/18...
