VERY persistent P0171

Alright , so heres the story. I recently installed my Injen CAI in my 06 2.4L SS, and i've been getting a P0171 for the longest time. every time i take it to the dealership, the seem to find some other issue with it, that never permanently fixes the DTC. costs are starting to add up, and so is my frustration.

I've personally checked it for vacuum leaks, and havent found any ( unless you want to count a very minor exhaust leak from my Magnaflow where the front portion of the pipe meets the rear * could that be the cause of the code?*) .

The dealership has replaced all my injectors and spark plugs, and fuel filter, but still havent managed to fix the problem. Any ideas?

Gonna fix minor exhaust leak, and see where i end up. thanks guys. Tune is coming soon, but i think by that time i'll have just gone to ZZP and had them install a turbo kit instead... seems like a fun fix

its the intake dude. the stock maf reads a little low and under certain conditions it will go too low and cause the system to lean out. mine does it all the time with my CAI. and unless your exhaust leak is at your manifold it wouldn't cause any problems with your fuel trims.

I didn't think it would be the exhaust leak, given that it's just ahead of the resonator portion of it. Good to know that it is just the CAI causing it. Got a tune you guys recommend?
