See mine has misfired a couple times I believe, it made a couple looooooooooooooooooooooooooud ass pops, I haven't gotten the plugs thoroughly looked at yet though. Today floored in 2nd gear it wouldn't hold boost, and it felt weird, tried it again and it was fine. This is on a new tune also.

You can take them out and check for fouling. I also had misfire and hesitation issues but that was due to a crappy tune from a local shop.

Well I'm not near 100k miles lol I don't think I got a crappy tune either it's from someone very smart on here but unfortunately I can't do any logging because my friend's cable isn't working properly. Time to take it out for a spin and see if it does it again.

anybody have problems after tune when 1-2 NLS'ing. it like bogs or something for a second. Like itll go to 6k shift, then to like 4k or whatever, and itll sit there for a second and the car will go BRRRRRRR and then it will accelerate. its not tire spin, its like a weird bogging thing that only happened after tune. My buddies who got tuned at the same place has the same problem. It tends to hurt my 1/4 mile times. It only happens sometimes but when im on the track and pushing it real hard and shifting quick

These cars eat plugs.

I have had to replace them a few times, usually every 5 thousand miles.

I will start to knock when I know it is time, if I wait a long time it will misfire, then it will act like a two step if I wait too long

I think he is saying yes deffinately. These cars do tend to burn out plugs quickly. I guess it is a combination of iridium plugs and the tremendous heat this DI motor produces.

Yep, exact same thing happened when I got tuned at a local shop. It ended up being knock during the 1-2 NLS...It pulled timing like crazy. Mine was due to a fuel spike during shifts...Once I leaned up the AFR it was good, I didn't have to ease up on timing at all.

Run nothing but the stock plugs.

I forget the part number off the top of my head, but they come gapped already too(ACDelcos) so you could change them yourself super easily.

Seriously Rissa...don't try anything else but the stock plugs...you'll have a car that won't rev past 4k

The AC Delco part number is 41-108 . The plugs should last you 100,000 miles unless something or somebody has changed the engine's calibrations DRASTICALLY, or you have internal parts problems. If you're not getting a CEL I wouldn't worry about plugs.

17000 miles, 15000 which are on the BSR tune (yes, i know, its not as aggressive as other tunes out there) still running strong on original plugs.
