Stage kit available!
I don't know if this is a repost but it seems like as a last hoorah for the cobalt next year. Gm has decided to add the rumored stage kit for the LNF family of cars. The numbers they claim are preaty impressive to say the least. Here is the article from Car and Driver.
GM Performance is now offering a dealer-installed performance option for the 2.0-liter, direct-injection turbo four-cylinder found in the Pontiac Solstice GXP, the Saturn Sky Red Line, and the Chevy HHR SS. It increases horsepower from 260 to 290 and torque from 260 pound-feet to 340 for the manual-transmission Solstice and Sky (325 for automatic models and 315 for the HHR). The kit will cost $650 (not including installation) and consists of an ECU reflash to up the boost and a new manifold-air-pressure sensor. A version for the Cobalt SS with the same engine is expected in a few months.

Yeah that was a part of the original announcement of the kit. The problem was with the GM financial situation, new cars coming out, etc. / w/e... and then they still haven't brought it out yet.
There are other threads on this topic of what's happened since then to the kit. Thanks for the information donation, but this is no longer up-to-date nor correct information at this time.

It has been delayed but will come out later. I just might trade my SS/SC for the SS/TC! That much power and still have a warranty is unresistable!
Your welcome
. Hopefully it come out sooner that projected.

Its not that much power with just the stage kit. When i got it i told myself i wont do anything else to the car and yeah i wanted more. The only thing the stage kit is good for is the 3 bar map sensors and nothing else imo

I almost got excited there for a second. I dont even have to look at the link to know that article is really old. Don't blame you for getting excited, just make sure you look at the dates and stuff. Remember, this is a lot of peoples lifetime goals on here to be the first to announce this kits arrival....including myself

I don't know much about Navy rank so ima take a stab in the dark. you are a hull technician? pay grade is E-?
I am an active Army Specialist, Pay grade E-4. My Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is Cavalry Scout, eyes and ears of the battlefield. I've done one 12 month deployment to Iraq. I just got back in the end of May. I am in the 1st Squadron, 9th U.S. Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. While in Iraq I was along the border of Iran. Shortly I am Changing my MOS to Unmanned Ariel Vehicle Operator, basically I will be flying remote controlled airplanes.
