European drag racing

Here's some vids from today, I'm still uploading them right now, so give me a few and there will be about 10 or so.

European car with american V8, 1.5 60ft., 11.7@181km/h(112mph)

European Drag strip is just an old Airstrip, NO RETURN ROAD, so after everyone makes a pass, they all drive back downt he strip and get back in line. I have to say, first time I've ever seen anything like this.

These next 2 cars I have no idea what they are. I know the right lane is AWD and a 4banger, so I'm assuming it's an Audi, and the right lane is a VW. Right lane hit 1.8 60ft, 11.0@209km/h(130mph)
Left lane hit 13.1@172km/h(106mph)

Here's you some EPIC FAILSAUCE. A brand new gt500 vs an old Cobra roadster. you'd think you are about to see to pretty fast cars up against each other right? Well, the GT500 starts out with a beautiful Failsauce wheel hopping burnout. Then Proceeds to cut a 2.1 60ft, and run a 12.8@184km/h(114mph) and the right lane goes 13.7@164km/h(102mph).

Now for some Old school German BMW action vs some Old school American Muscle Action.
1st gen Camaro in the Right lane 1.8 60ft 12.1@185km/h(115mph)
E30 BMW in the LEFT lane 13.1@163km/h(101mph)

VW vs Chevelle(fastest car of the day)
Chevelle did a Right lane 1.5 60ft, 10.3@212km/h(132mph)
VW Golf did a Left lane 14.7@155km/h(96mph)

I have no idea what these next 2 are, but the right lane was booking
left lane 16.3@135km/h(84mph)
Right lane 12.2@183km/h(114mph)

and for some reason I brainfarted and didn't say the times on these guys
VW golf vs a Lupo I think.

lmao, it's an old runway, wasn't really intended for drag racing, but the USAF closed down bitburg and gave it back to the german public, and this is what they did with the runway. Sucks cause there is no return road.

yea, those are 1/4 mile ETs, just in KM/h, I already converted them for you so you can see what mph they were. Also, this track doesn't usually give out time slips.

So wait... they run and then wait on other end of the runway till everyone finishes and then all of them come back at the same time???

Also, either those cars are really fast or the track is not measured right cuz those are some good numbers

I guess, if that's the way you want to think of it. But really there is just no return road, so they all make a pass, and then after the last person, they call come back and line up again.

lmao, I just got here a week and a half ago, takes 8 weeks for your car to be shipped here. And we shipped the wife's car for now. Mine will come later.

I'm borrowing a car right now, and it sucks. The first week we were here, we were walking everywhere. PCS'ing sucks.
