Need new tires 08 SS

Its getting to the point where i should be needing new tires. I want something that's not too expensive and is good All season but also handles real good for when I start rippin on back roads. I don't really know what a good tire is for these high performance cars. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

What did you think of the continentals? Affordable all seasons are going to be a downgrade from those.

I'm going with the Continental DWSs sometime this fall. Then again, some don't have to worry about snow like we do in Jersey.

all seasons? sorry but you will not get "good" tires for tearing up back roads in a all season. If it snows near you or gets below 45 degree F, you will need snow tires to actually be able to drive safely and properly.

For a cheap summer tire with excellent grip I recommend the KDW2. You will give up a little stiffness on the sidewall but for 1/2 the price of a new oem tire they were great. I would buy them again.

BFG TA KDW's for summer
Bridgestone BLIZZAKS for the winter

All seasons suck ass in the summer and winter.

A lot of people rip on Kumho, but I've used them on two separate cars, and they were a great tire for little money.
