Angry Exhaust leak

So my exhaust has been getting louder and louder (buzzing sound) ever since last Sunday. Now the noise is coming from the down pipe and im not sure if its cracked or its the gasket? also let me remind you i only have 55 000km on my 06 pursuit gt .

Sounds like the flex pipe cracked right after the header. Happened on my car. I don't know about in canada, but here it falls under the 8 year/80000 federal emissions warranty, if that what it is.

Mine cracked at about 42000 miles.

mine's not stock and i can almost guarantee its coming from the DP-Catback connection.

does anyone know if theres a easy way to fix this? cause it started leaking the same night we put it on. so gasket can't be bad.

so i just dropped my 06 cobalt ss at the dealership with a crack in my flex pipe.. and ofcourse the guy is asking me whether or not I bought an extended warranty. I reply, I thought it is covered in the 8 year/80000m warranty? he says nope... think he's dumb.. any place to get proof that its covered so I can argue if he tries to pull a fast one?

Since it is a part of the cat pipe, it fall under the 8year/80k. Your dealership is being stupid. That pipe is one piece.

So...

I have a 2006 cobalt I got used with 5.5K miles on it the flex pipe is cracked. Will I still be covered for 8 years or 80K miles?
