Exclamation what tire size can i run?

I have 2006 ss/sc with factory 18s my stock tire size is 215/45 18 my rim width size is 7 in. My question is what is the widest tire I could mount on stock rims? I have heard of people putting 225+ on stock rims! Thanks guys

yea that would be right but if i were you i would go with a lower profile like 235/35 because a 235/45 would be a larger profile then your stock tire.

I thought I heard you can fit a 245/40/18 without rubbing.. If you keep the height at 45 it has a chance to rub..

Go xxx/40/18 max, I would not drop to 35..
