Great car...well worth the wait...I'll post some pics on here asap...someone private message me on exactly how to post them...now on to my problem...my dealership screwed me bigtime...I had an agreement with my salesmen on using my GM supplier discount and he said back in october no problem...he repeated it again sometime in november and it was never brought up again...then today he 1st acted like I didnt even have a supplier discount and he never brought it up...we talked some numbers and I finally asked him if my supplier discount for $1050 was already included in the price...he said no...then said I didnt know you had a supplier discount...I then pulled out the certificate and papers for the discount I brought with me...then he started his $hit that they cant accept it...because the demand is too high they could sell the car that I preordered for easily $3000 above sticker price...he also said he couldnt accept it because the SS/SC is in limited production and a special car...to make a long story short...he denys that I ever talked to him about a supplier discount...he didnt have anything written down about it and that was all he kept saying...the general manager came over and more of the same...he finally gave me another $300 off the car...paid $23400 with free moonroof and xm radio which was free from the preorder in october...what can I do about the discount I have coming to me...I'll bring it up when GM calls me for their survey but I want reimburst...wouldnt my dealership eventually get reimburst too from GM on the supplier discount...so whats the problem then???

Dealership where I bought said the same thing - no GM discount, not even to dealership employees. Its their discretion. Is sucks that they said o.k. and then renigged on you. Best you can do is complain to GM.

 

23000 with the free XM and sunroof?

If you signed paperwork agreeing to the price there probably isn't much you can do now....


The sticker on my SS/SC was a tad over 23000 and that include the sunroof/xm options. So you really didn't get them free....

 

dealerships dont know ****...there to much salespeople not car people

 

they must get dealer rebates or bonus incentives on this car so they should be able to discount car as they whould get most of it back..........dealers are being lil greedy, so i sell atv.jetboats and motorcycles,we have sale price on bikes or atvs some dealer rebates go from 500 to 1000 bucks
