Question SS/SC Rear Calipar Sliders ?

I did a qwick search and didn't find anything. What im wondering is on an o6ss/sc i just replaced my brakes and rotors all the way around. But what i found weird was that on my sliders one looked normal. and the second one had some sort of rubber O-ring on the end of it. Now my problem with that was it was only on the back that the sliders had a )-ring on them. And secondly they made like an air tight seal and where really hard to get back in the retainers. When i pushed them into the bottom of the whole they started to push them selfes almost half way back out. Is that normal on the rear of the ss/sc ? Or are my O-rings expanded and causing me problems. Once in the whole they do move in and out. Just if i push them in all the way they will force them selves half way back out. And lastly , does said o-ring slider go in top or bottom of the retainer ?

Thanks all......

i was able to get the car all back together. I just used a pair of vise grips to screw the piston back in. My problem is with the sliders them selves that allow thw calipers to move in and out. I re greased them all and cleaned everything up. But like i said above. one slider has a rubber o ring on the end of it and makes such an air tight seal that it pushes the slider half way back out. the other with out the o ring just stays in one spot. And they both do move fairly easily . And the orings are only on the back calipers sliders.

It sounds like you maybe think im talking about the caliper piston. But i am refering to the brake sliders ( Brake pins ) One has a rubber o-ring and one does not. The one with the o-ring is stiffer and slightly pushes itself partly back out. Not all the way, but there is some air pressure behind it. Because of the o-rings tight seal.
