Question GMC Manufacturer warrenty

Hey, i just bought a 2006 SS and was just wondering what mods will void the warrenty from GM. What exact engine work? What external modifications? I was going to paint my calipers, look at rims and springs, look at intakes, and body kits. It is pretty obveous that a turbo/supercharger (once they come out officially) will void the warrenty (tell me if im wrong) so i will have to wait 3 years for that. Let me know! Thanks Guys you all rock!

I'll be willing to be that painting the calipers or rims won't void the warrenty but im not sure on the others.

As far as I know, only way the mod will void the warranty is if it was the cause of the problem.

I found this on the GM website. I think it means that if i do use after market parts, im screwed with the new warranty. Please read it over and tell me what u think!

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ALTERATIONS AND WARRANTIES

I'm pretty sure that thing from the GM website means that aftermarket part providers are responsible for the parts. I.E.: If you get a new set of rims, the paint chips (on the rims), GM is not responsible for the aftermarket rims because they didnt' manufacture them. But like someone posted above, the only way a mod will void the manufacturer's warranty is if it is the cause of the problem. So if you get a new set of rims, and your radio screws up....they can't deny you your warranty because the parts have no correlation. Its called the Magnuson-Moss warranty act....do a search someone has posted the whole thing on here.
