Ive used thes tires(and other Triangle models) on many cars, they are good for the price, but they are Chinese, so not everyone will like them.

springs are in. but i have no time to install. i work and when i get off i dont feel like doing anything. but i will get around to it eventually. and so far the tires are REALLY good. drove about 200miles on em so far and the little knobs are stilll on the tires. and i will follow up in about 10,000miles and take some pics of tread wear and give my opinons but so far i would reccomend them to anyone looking for a decent tire with good grip and low road noise at a Great price.

It's hard to go wrong for that price. Especially since you went from Michelin Pilots to these without noticing much of a difference. The only downside is you didn't buy American, so you aren't helping the American economy. Not everyone can afford to pay twice as much for American made tires though. Hopefully people who have boatloads of cash are doing their part to support the American/Canadian economy, because I bought Nitto's (Japanese).

yeah my budget is tight as hell man. so spending 100+ a tire was out of the question. but the triangles have better grip then the michelins did when i first got them. so im hapy.

your car parts are made in other countries anyway so it's all good. hell, the recaro seats are german and brembo brakes are italian. gm could have gotten american made parts for the performance cobalts but they wanted the best parts for the cobalt and what their customers actually want.

Wrong size for car. You would need to get a 215/50/17 on those wheels. It will greatly enhance the roadfeel, handling and it will give you accurate speedometer readings. With the tires you are showing us, when your speedometer reads 60 mph, you are actually only travelling 57.7 mph. Not to mention your tires make your car look raised, you can eliminate this problem by getting the size tire I recommended. To achieve better handling, try a 235/45/17.

Actually 215/45 is a perfect size, especially if the car originally had 195/60/15s. the 215/50s are over an inch taller than the 195/60s, whereas the 215/45s are only about a 1/4" the difference in speedo accuracy between the 45s and the 195/60s is negligable(about 1%), but the 215/50s would have an adverse affect as would the 235/45s, both being over 4% error.

Its also likely he has 7'wide wheels, and 235s wouldnt be happy on them.

I run 215/45s and they are a great size for a 2.2 Balt with 17x7 wheels, nice and light, very close to stock height, proper size for wheel, etc....

Thank you Maven. The size i have are the correct size for 17X7 inch rims. and 235 isnt going to help me any. just going too make the tire roll more. and wont be better handeling. and the size i got are perfect. so dont be coming in here bashing and saying i got the wrong size. and also. a taller tire wont make my car lower. only springs with do that or coilovers.
