i plan on buying a twm performance short throw shifter in the near future, but i was wanting to get a carbon fiber shift knob and carbon fiber shift boot to go with it. regardless im going to get the shift boot, but do you think i should replace the shift knob with carbon fiber or just leave it aluminum? (i think the twm performance aluminum knob is cool, but i may want to change it) please show me pics of your STS setup. tell me brands and give me advice and your opinions.

I'd get the black but it all depends on what you like best. Does TWM offer a CF knob?

 

i dont think they do...but yeah, i saw the black aluminum knob and i'll probably get that. thanks for someone FINALLY replying haha

Here's my TWM STS.. flat black knob. I love it. CF could look nice too.

 

I don't have any pics yet, but I have the twm sts with wieghted gunmetal ball w/o the shift pattern engraved...cannot get any cleaner and sleek looking!

 

Do you have any pics of before and after? That doesn't look like it reduced the height at all. Just my thought... Thinking of getting one myself
