Help me find a new spoiler

Alrite I've posted this question before maybe people did not notice it,anyhow,I am looking for an aftermarket spoiler for my 08 ss/tc I wanna find a basket handle spoiler. That idea came to my head recently and I think the car will look hot while still being low key and under the rader from cops. My choices are narrowed down to a dodge neon regular spoiler (reg. neon not srt 4) or like a civic si spoiler from 98-00". I currently have a low rise rite now and don't really like it. Here are some links to let you know what im talking about.

First Choice - http://www.autoall.com/images_products/as-1687HC.jpg

Second Choice - http://www.cardata.com/spoilers/imag..._Neon_442N.jpg

I know they look pretty much identical but the whole question lies in the bolt pattern, and length. So I'm trying to find out which one will fit better. Oh and also I wanna paint my stock rims gold, anyone got any pics of how it will look? Mines a black ss so I want to lower it,tint the windows and have the rims gold. its gonna be sick!

No lol I don't wanna look like them,I personally despise those cars its just that this car has a different body style from a civic or a neon, its just the spoiler itself will look sick in my opinion without looking like a riceball at the same time. I want something low key but my lowrise just doesnt cut it for some reason.

Neither IMO... just go wingless or get the RK Sport wing if you hate your low rise cause those are gross.

the SS wings both low pro and high rise are functional...I wouldnt change them myself. Unless I got the time attack spoiler. If you want one look at the rk stuff.

Functional? If I remember correctly it takes like 140 mph for the high rise to make 25 lbs of downforce on the rear of the car which, if I also remember correctly, are not our drive wheels. And that's the high rise. Low rise couldn't possibly make a noticeable difference in any department.

You

Are

Kidding,

Right??

Neither cobalt wing was extensively wind tunnel tested for performance reasons... They are visuals. Nothing more, nothing less. Yeah, the high rise may make some tiny ass down force to the wrong wheels... at 140+mph. The best thing it does is block cop light bars. It is not designed to be a performance part

i think your right except i think its more like 110 and i do think it makes more than 25 lbs of downforce. either way it techniquely is functional lol

I 2x4 is just as toughtfully engineered as the high rise. No matter how you put it, it is NOT a performance part

No, it is not a performance mod. Hell, a Caravan w/ a wing has downforce too. Suck it up and deal with failure

I dont remember the exact numbers of downforce of each spoiler. I'll ask the GMPP engineer though. I love how you guys think its not functional...they are.

Umm... I wouldn't imagine at all. You just pull down on the trunk itself to shut it instead of the wing.

painting a SS/TC rims gold and using a neon or civic wing.....unlike most hondas thats not gonna give you the 300whp they get with those mods...you got the wrong car and are on the wrong forum
