Limited boos in 1st questions

Is having your boost limited in 1st worth having? Looking for people that have it that can tell me the pros and cons of it please.

The pros are you won't have wheel hop, the cons are that you don't have full power in that gear. If you have no traction mods and go to the track with street tires, you might want to limit your boost. However if you have rotated tranny mounts I don't feel theres a need for a boost limitation. Most people can control tire spin with the throttle, however wheel hop some people have an issue with.

yes it's worth having..i have a 3.0 and 42's custom tuned and with no reduction i can only go like halfway on the pedal at the most without spinning, now with reduced from 40% building up to 100% I can plant the pedal and depending on the road surface not even spin in 1st. now my problem is the slow ass tach.
you have hpt don't you? it's one table to adjust it.

I was just playing with this yesterday.. I was at the track a couple weeks ago and had 100% in first gear. I couldn't get a decent 60 foot time for the life of me.

I had to set mine all the way to 0% to keep my tires from lighting up even from a roll.

I say play around with different settings and go with what feels good. Some of it is foot control but a bunch of boost in 1st gear is tough to control.
