ok sooo i just got my cti catback installed this weekend and suprise suprise it's too loud for my taste.. for town driving it's not bad .. but there's a rasp to it at WOT that pisses me off so i'm looking to get something quieter.. i like the borla proxs but thats the top of my range price wise.. i like the dynomax super turbos as well as the thrush super hush but what's everyone elses take the current muff is a magnaflow but it's a total straight through design..

 

vibrant ultra quiet resonator. thats all you need

 

install a turbo, that will quiet the exhaust note.

I have this set up with a resonator and I chose the magnaflow hiflow can and I have no rasp at all, sounds great, about to install a zzp catless DP on Wed, hopefully I still don't hear a rasp after that.

 

does yours hit the hanger above the rear axle??

 

no, not at all, the muffler shop that installed mine had to do a little tweaking to the set up, nothing major though, just the ears that connect to the rubbers were re located to solve those problems.

 

damn, i gotta find out what to do, maybe i set it up wrong. i cant stand the constant rattle
