Angry Well, splattered a raccoon

Just now.

So, the intercooler, is the first layer on the front end right? bent it a good bit, cracked the bumper a little and the GM parts direct grille broke and went flying.

Question is, with it bent is it safe to drive? Doesnt seem punctured. Going to see if my dealer can look at it tomorrow or friday. I was going to Columbus (3 hours away) this weekend. Then to the Intense show at Norwalk.

Damn it.

it is radiator, heat exchanger, air condensor. so your radiator is most likely bent.

Your intercooler is between the supercharger and intake manifold. So I am sure it is fine.

As far as driving just watch your temperature really carefully.

And a few years ago I was driving through Ohio, going to North Dakota and I swear I have never seen so much road kill. It was mostly these 1 foot tall birds, prarie chickens I believe??? They are the dumbest animals on earth. They break the truce all the time.

The first layer is the AC condensor, then the aftercooler radaitor, and last is the engine radiaitor. If it's just the first layer it might have caused and AC leak and you will be without AC.

This is correct

Agreed on the chance of an AC fluid leak.

Well, another good post about my dealership.

Called this morning, dropped off car, they got a a/c condenser in (said I could probably get car back Friday) get a call at 6:15pm from the owner from the dealership "come get your car!" I didn't have a drive, he drives out, picks me up, and tells me "don't worry about the bill, we'll work it out with your insurance". How about that?

Still need a bumper, and lower lip, but I'll have another grille tomorrow from another great dealer, crateenginedepot.com, and It'll look almost normal.

Yeah....I think that it is like some sort of gang initiation.<--Dont know if I spelled it right. They have to try to as close to the car as possible in order to get in the gang. Just my thought.
