Cobalt Wreck on I-45 Houston?

I was wondering if anybody knew who was driving the black cobalt ss w/ high rise that had a bad wreck on I-45 in North Houston at FM 2920 around 1 am sunday? They had north bound completly shut down. The cobalt was a good ways from the car it collided w/ and the front end was completely smashed.

I'm curious if they are alright and if it was somebody I might know?

That sucks, I hope everything turns out ok... Cobalts are built pretty well. I'm sure they are fine.

A 20-year-old man is charged with intoxication manslaughter after police say he hit another car while driving drunk early this morning, killing the other driver.

Rafael Romo Navarro is also charged with failing to stop and render aid after police say he fled on foot following the crash, shortly before 1 a.m. on the North Freeway near Spring.

A Toyota Camry had run into car trouble and was stopped on the freeway’s left shoulder when police say Navarro’s Chevrolet Cobalt rear-ended the Camry, killing its driver instantly. Navarro then fled across the freeway on foot, but police found him less than an hour later, hiding under a vehicle at a nearby car dealership.

Navarro is in jail. The victim has not been identified because some family members have not yet been notified

Thats pretty scary. Car trouble on the side of the road and some douche bag hitting your car while you are under/beside/in front of it.

There has got to be a way to stop all this drunk driving. Hear stories about it nearly every time I watch the news. Of someone being killed...
