What set up should I go with?

Hey everybody:

I have decided between two set ups of wheels for my car.

I have a BLACK '08 Cobalt SS/TC. planning on wingless and a drop.

The first set would be the MSR style 068:

I like them a lot.

and for the second, it would be this set of Rota G Forces:

I really like these.

NOW if I went with the second ones I already have matching blue interior gauges and I would maybe think about reupholstering my seats like this:

color matched to the wheels.

now I would just love everyones opinions good or bad. make up my mind.

and YES I have heard horror stories from both rim companys. but I dont see how many g's I can pull in every turn so I think I should be pretty safe.

thanks for the input

go with the blue...otherwise to much color.

i think the blue seats, lights, and rims would look SICK!

Can you even get the Rota's in 5x110? They will be lighter than the MSR's, but more money too most likely?

thanks guys.

Im leaning towards the rotas because they are different and no one would really have them.

BUT

they come in 5 x 100 and 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern. PLEASE tell me these can fit somehow or my hopes will be shot down.

(I dont really know much about wheels)

your not going to get a one off set made of rotas, They require like ten other people to order the same finish and type of wheel before they would even consider making the wheels.

I think the two are pretty similar - and the MSRs should be cheaper and easier to get - and they'll fit.

It would be super expensive and it's pretty much a permanent thing. If it was super easy to do and cheap I would figure majority of people here would have done it already...I believe like 2 people has done it so far.

Well for 240 bucks you can get adapters but I hear they aren't the safest option. If you plan on driving around I guess the adapters would be fine but if you planned on auto x or something like that I doubt those adapters would last long.

Since you know the MSR have the right bolt pattern and would actually fit... why dont you get them and then get the red part powdercoated blue or something and that way it might be easier to color match to a seat upholstry color if you still plan on that?

Just a thought. And it shouldnt cost too much... the money you save getting the 'on sale' msr opposed to the more expensive rotas should be enough to cover the cost as well
