Dont see many locals posting lately but thought I'd throw this out there:Had dinner with relatives Saturday in St. Charles; afterwards it was still early so decided to take a drive out 70. Went to a Rascals game this year but hadn't been down Rt. K in years(good god that area has developed; where did the farms go?). Saw a black SC gassing up so turned around to go back and say hey or w/e. Missed him so continued on K and a silver slammed 350Z pulled along side-couldn't tell if he wanted to have at it or was just checking me out(I was checking out the passenger,lol). He turned and a minute later I thought he was next to me again but no it was a silver wingless SC. Gave him the and a lil small talk then he gunned it. A sec or two later I did the same, unfortunately there's a lot of stoplights on K. Even more unfortunate was the fact my drink wouldn't fit in the puny cupholder and I ended up with a case of "beverage *****"
Nothing epic but it's fun to see other Balts out and about. Hope to have some toys on this MF next time through.

 

I'm from that area and miss it a lot. I would always go out on hwy 94 west out of Weldon Springs and hit the winery roads on the river bluffs. Lots of tire squealing. Moved to Iowa now and the roads suck- go straight for 10 miles, come to a stop sign, make a turn, go another 10 miles straight. I still get down there 2-3 times a year to visit family. Keep on representin'!
