Newbie tune question

I have a 2007 cobalt ss and I want 60lb injectors with a 2.8 pulley and i was going to get the dual bypass too.. What would be the best kit or way to go about this(like as in price or quality of componets. And would it be possible for someone in jacksonville florida to tune my car without being put on the dyno? and what else would i need as in Air/Fuel guage, EGT, anything along those lines? this may be the wrong sections to post but i have been lookin at all the different parts from intense to zzp and read reviews so i'ma just ask the people who actually tune and know the pro's and con's of it before i waste my money... thanks all help and advice is welcomed...

For parts grab whatever parts you need from ottp, they are a wonderful vendor. http://www.ottperformance.com/

For the tuning I recomend finding a good reliable and trustworthy tuner who uses hptuners in your area. DO NOT let someone tune your car who does not tune cobalts regularly. Cobalts are different then other cars and there are a few things that you should really know before tuning them. Look in the tuners thread and see if anyone is in FL. I think italianjoe might be able to help you, but don't quote me on that.

I recommend 2.8 pulley, 60lb injectors, meth injection, cxracing heat exchanger, dual pass end plate with an aluminum option b tank from euthanasia!

Yea i had a million questions about meth injection does it run constantly? does it have to be fill often like everyday once a week? and what kinda install is required for the set up and where did u guys hide the 5 gallon tank?

It only runs when your in boost. And I've filled my 1 gallon tank twice. Once when I put it on and once when it got down to half tank. And I've been running it for 2 months.

damn well that sounds like a good deal then do u just fill it with a mixture of water/meth? and where does it hook up? Do u think that ottp tune my ecu if i just sent it to them?

I buy methonal from a performance shop and mix it with distiller water, and I spray it into a throttle body spacer. And i would be ottp could help you figure something out

Yea so i think i'ma go 60lb injectors, 2.7 pulley and meth injection. dual pass end plate.. Now i just gotta find someone with the hptuner software so i could get a tune. Do u guys think it would just be easier to send my ecu into ottp and have them reflash it for me?

Its always better to get a custom tune, especially with meth since there are more variables that come into play (mixture, nozzle size, to name a few). A custom tune will allow you to get the most timing out of your setup since they will be able to see if you are getting any knock and add or take some timing away until the tune is solid. Im sure ottp could give you a pretty decent tune if you tell them what mixture and nozzle you are running, but they probably would leave a little power on the table just to make sure you wont have any problems. I would pm josh (Fast98) or sean (lsjwannabe) if you want to go that route, or find someone in your area that has experience with hptuners.
