Smile My fall teardown sep 25-27

Since I have 3 days off this week I want to try to sort some issues out on the car before winter. I want to try to figure out whats going on with the crazy IAT issues and address a few other things as well. So heres whats lined up

-Reinstalling Stock TB
-Removing Stock Heat Exchanger and relocating in front of the AC condenser
-Reinstalling AEM progressive water/meth controller
-Removing Back seats and soundproofing interior as well as underbody and fenderwells to try to kill some road/exhaust noise
-Fix my amp in the trunk from falling off the trunk roof since screws are no longer working
-Replace bypass valve with the one that came with the Harrop
-Double check the plumbing is right and not backwards on my option B setup

Does anyone have a proper option B diagram that has the stock and a aftermarket HE listed, I keep wondering if theres something wrong here my temps are just so much higher than others.

good luck putting the stock heat exchanger in front the AC condenser. You are better off just putting an aftermarket one up there.

already have a CX racing up front, just moving the stock one in front of the ac condenser so it gets more air

As far as the progressive kit.. personally, id stick with the standard.

Why not try just removing the stock heat exchanger all together? I tried it both ways and it worked best for me to just use the CX racing heat exchanger by itself.

well I got the stock HE moved up front of the AC condenser, I notice I do have some pinched hoses so I'll be putting in some fittings tommorow

Verified against the GM diagram that everything is plumbed right

I though you want the stock H/E in to because you want more fluid in your cooling system. Isnt it the more fuild in the system the longer it takes to heat all the fluid to a hot temp?

Why not have a bung welded into the OTTP HE for a bleeder? Used to bleed my CX Racing Dual Pass HE from the top. But it did come with a bung. Most people mounted theirs upside down.

Same thing I did. Mounted mine upside down and used the drain for the bleed line.
