Found a picture of my old ride.

I found a picture of my old Z24 on my computer, I sure do miss her sometimes. But, the SS is definatley faster and nicer.

She had the GMPP Supercharger and a embree machine 2.6" pulley, 4-2-1 header and high flow cat, 2.5 Magnaflow exhaust, AEM short ram intake, Eibach Sportlines with Koni reds, Power slot rotors and EBC green stuff pads, Tenzo-R Mean-6's witn BFG KDW's, autotrans interceptor, other miscellaneous mods, and I finally had got the windows tinted after this picture. Then, the engine decided to crack and piston... and I got rid of her because I couldn't afford to rebuild it at the time.

It was pretty quick, but a stock SS is comparable. The handling is what I loved about it. She always hooked up on a launch, and turned like she was on rails!

Nice ride looks good but put Sportlines on the SS/SC with a strut tower brace and it feels like its on rails too!

i had a 97 z24 with the 2.4, and i have to say the car had some *****. it had no trouble spinning through first and second..... def. not the pickup of the ss, and the shift on those seemed like a mile compared to ours.... but god, i loved that car..... id pick up another one, or mine if i could....

I sure do miss her, that's for sure. The color is what I miss the most. My silver SS looks clean, but doesn't ahve the glow she had.

mine was red, i was going to take the money i used for my downpayment on my ss and get a set of 17 inch motegi dpk wheels, the ones with the silver trim and the gunmetal center and spokes, new tires, and start piecing together a turbo kit.... i could have built a badass cavy for the amount i have already spent on this beast..... they are sharp too, i had leather in mine, took it out of my aunts 2002, when she got rid of it, hers was silver with red and grey leather seats, well covers from gm, the looked sick in my red one, said cavalier on them and all in white embroidery... was a sharp little ****...
