Yea, I bet the aftermarket is going to be huge! I cant wait to see what RK Sport will make for it. Im sure we will have a few nice body kits for it.

for some reason rksport making kits for it like the cavys wouldnt surprise me but i hope they get a few new ideas flowing

Looks alot like a Neon to me. Still like the 98 Z24 looks better on the exterior. Of course the Cobalt looks better inside. Seats better be more comfy than a cavy. The 160 speedo will not be needed. Doubt if the car would run over 125, even if it isn't governed.

I've been in a z24 at 230km/h(142mph, vss mod and clocked by GPS), with over 550lbs of people; we assume it'll do 240 with just driver.

all it had was an intake and fart can.

I think the SS will be one fast fucker, depending on how they gear it.

the other side to that, however, is the vss mod - how much you wanna bet the general redesigns the transmission to avoid this? they know it can be done on the J's, they know how easy it is and how many people do it; don't expect to be able to just cut the purple wire.

so, without a standalone, no use for that speedo.

they changed the spolier designs on the SS also. originally it was that lower one then they started putting the high sitting spoilers as in the first post.

diggin the yellow, wonder if can custom order all black interior? no color matched crap. it would be nice if gm held off a month more on the ss s/c so they can do some upgrade options like the srt-4, like optional lsd, possibly some more power packages that wont void warranty. possibly a suspension package or two. atleast an lsd option would be verry nice. i still think ion hitting 14.8 that the cobalt and ion are capable of 14.5.

Yep you can get the Supercharged in arrival blue (the bright blue). And yes you can also order the interior all black.

LOL I think that's what is supposed to be the 2.4L VVT SS.... the 170hp one. But with GM, really who knows? They have two different rim styles on the SS Supercharged on their website, and that car is already in production!!!

I like the sleekness of that body kit though, and the rims are sweet.

Yeah same. That was obviously a preproduction model though, and some of the pictures on the website have silver deck/HVAC, so maybe they still will do it.
