rim size question

so i have a 2.4l SS/NA and i was looking for winter tires and i found a guy locally who has 18's with winter tires on it and my car has 17's how much will it affect my car if i was to put the 18's on

I work with tires and custom rims I will tell you the differance between 17 and 18 are not that great to affect your ride it is all about the rubber man

Snap them up! I would love to have 18's for winter use! As long as the tire size is right, you will be good. Also. Our bolt pattern is 5x110, so these wheels may not have the right bolt pattern unless this guy has a Cobalt/G5, etc.
