help! broken!

help! broken!

so i was doing the airbox mod today and somehow i broke the little plastic nipple off of the intake. any ideas on how to fix this? i tried some jb plastic weld but it didnt hold. help please!!!

Gorilla superglue will hold anything....i've used it to hold lots of plastic stuff together. If not that, put up a WTB in the classifieds and try to get ahold of another intake from another member

The nipple that holds the breather tube? Go to the dealership and get it warrantied. I had mine break off too.

yeah thats the nipple that broke. im not going to be able to get to a dealer till sometime next week. what can i do until then? whats the worst that can happen with the tube being disconnected?

Seal it off on the intake or your fuel trims will be way out of whack with all the unmetered air being sucked in. Fuel trims will go off themap, run like **** and hello CEL!

so i used some epoxy and let it sit overnight. then dripped a little gorilla glue on it and it seems to be holding up... hopefully it'll be all good.
