about to install dual pass/option B/heat exchanger

I got all the stuff from OTTP, I could not find a diagram that included the option B tank instead of the original fill cap thing... Just wondering what all I need to know to do this myself and what problems are usual to run into.

Your better off running a "stu" mod type resevoir than an option b for the fact that the fluid flows through it instead of just expanding the system to hold more fluid. With that said if you know which way the coolant flows then just run everything how you want to.

I have no clue how anything flows or how anything is hooked up, that's where I was hoping for some input on the whole ordeal.

there is a diagram on here somewhere and I think it may be on OTT's website for flow. The way you are talking you might want to try and find somebody local to give you a hand who has done it before.

does anyone know if I will have any fitment issues using the lower grille insert with the aftermarket heat exchanger? It looks to be a pretty tight fit..

You shouldn't have issues, the grille insert doesn't really hang back through the bumper...

As far as install, it's a long process, and has been explained on here many times. I've helped a lot of people who bought my dual-pass plates through it, if you have any specific questions, i'll be glad to help. If you are looking for general instructions, there are several threads on installing the dual-pass that will explain it.

I am probably going to be skipping the dual pass end plate, right now I am just looking to do the option B setup with an OTTP heat exchanger...

Option B is just a larger expansion tank, kinda pointless without the endplate...

Just do your H/E now, and do the endplate with option B later. You'll be in the area anyway and running hoses.

It's not hard to do. You could have the manifold off and back on in 2 hours or less and then its just a matter of running hoses. I wouldn't not put it on just because you don't know what your doing. Either just go for or find somebody who has done it before and see if they can help you and then you can learn at the same time.

the intercooler pump is directly under the manifold. If you get under the car you can see it much better.
