headlight question

headlight question

is there a way to fix the gap between my headlight and the body of the car. because i get really worried when it rains or when i wash my car, i dont want the water to get to my cai

i have a gap between my headlight and hood too, i don't think there is anything you can do about it..can't you get a hydro shield to protect your cai??

The only way to help the situation is to take your headlight out, take out the metal tab for the screw. Dremmel the bracket hole and flip the tab around so that it now goes front to back instead of back to front. When placing the headlight back in the car get a second person to help line it up. Put in the outside bolt first then place pressure on the headlight - pulling it towards the front of the car while screwing in the inside bolt. This will lessen if not eliminate the gap. The size of your gap will depend on which generation you have and the manufacturer (2nd gens tend to be a little bigger than 3rd gens for some reason).
