Straight from the General himself regarding our 2009 Forced Induction Cobalts:

Wow! Can't blame the sales manager and service department anymore if he/she says it's supercharged.

gm seriously doesnt know **** about the cars they produce. They must have assigned one small team to design these cars and then just had everyone else sell them without ever see'ing them

Tried to refinance my 08 tc a few months back to get the interest rate down. Bank pulled the VIN up and it came up supercharged.

Yeah but the displacement is still wrong. GM's site is a disaster. The Pontiac site is okay though, it used to have a nice design to it... of course it's going away

Yeah, but its still not a 2.4L.

And in the modern day world... no one calls being "Turbocharged", being "Supercharged".

My insurance company has my VIN as a 2008 Cobalt Sport. I imagine that saves me some money on my premium.

I thought about listing mine as a sport on insurance but it gave me the option of SS Sport, SS supercharged and SS turbocharged,..... guess geico is on their ****. I still listed it as turbo even after my swap to cover everything just incase
