2004-2007 gm bra for ss

gm told me this bra would work on the 09s but it definately does not. its brand new still in the box. also comes with the hood protector. $50 plus shipping...i payed 100 for it i believe

Consider this a bump, but why does it not work? The bumper and hood on an 05 or an 09 are identical besides the grills. (unless its for a 2.4 SS and wont fit over the SS/SC and SS/TC lip)
