This is the first time at the track with the superchips tune. Only got two passes because there was an event along with test and tune . I know she has a real low 13 sec pass in her....neither of the runs i had were very good.... need more passes to get comfortable.

300 5.90
1/8 8.854
MPH 84.39 MPH

1000' 11.339

well the car would run 13.6-14. Assuming higher for the average driver.

So...

Nice gain actually.

Are you using launch control? If u are ...don't bother , it's set too high. I launch around 2500 Rpm and shift around 6000 . I dropped the front tire pressure down to 25psi and it seemed to help.

It doesn't take much to F up a launch in these cars......... I had a 2.417 60 foot on a 13.89 on my other pass that day

What MPH where you trapping?

So you basically knocked off around .8 seconds between the tune and no tune? That is very good. In the 1/8 mile I was trapping in the 84mph range, but spinning thru 1st and most of 2nd. My local track doesnt prep for ****, therefore I fail there, LOL. Nice runs!!

i think from what your 60ft time says you are just dumping the clutch. If you are lanching your are not rolling off. my 60ft is about a 2.1-2.2 average. I am bone stock right now and i can run 13.8s 13.9s. My best is a 13.7@104.

no, i mean it should be a good bit faster than what he said.

like a 13-13.4 for an average driver. i would be pissed if i had a tuned tc that was doing 13.6-14

yeh. i think i did see someone with the Sc tune go low 13s. i think it was a 13.1 or so. That is not bad for what they pay for them. I just dont like it deosnt do much with the mods.

The Superchips tune is a baby tune for sure. They don't touch torque managment and your basically running stock timing . Superchips is talking about tuning cars the way you want them for an extra fee ......so that would be cool .....that and a 93 oc tune. It's safe atleast /

you can definitely improve that, I only have the 1/8th mile, but I went 8.564 @ 87 with the mods in my sig... I think through the 1/4 I could get a 12.9-13.0

Wow ..... you are 3 10ths faster in the 8th and 3 MPH ......thats big. What rmp do you launch at? The only thing different between our cars is the air box mod, so when you did the Air box , did you notice a big difference? Anyways ...thats a great 1/8th mile pass
