Wheel hop in rain
It was happening on my G5 and Just picked up the LSJ havent driven it in the rain yet. The G5 was a autotrans mostly if I stopped on the painted stripes of the pavement when wet I would get off it right away. Just was reading alot about the wheel hop issues and was curious to see how many people have it. Ottp has a great deal on the rotated mounts so wasnt sure if I should jump on it or not??
ya I do, only when I am driving like a bit of an idiot though. but I have a better story for you, last winter i broke a cv joint via wheel hop on snow/ice lol I did the whole ricer front wheel drive backwards to forwards 180

i get wheelhop in the rain if i take off with a slight bit too much throttle. at that point if i step on it harder i get violent hop. however if i let the clutch out nice and take off smooth then hit it in the rain (or dry or that mater) i get no hop at all.
with my car, if i get hop its driver error.

I do even with my Inglass. Only on this one place on Ritchie Hwy. Everyone spins tires there when it's wet. It's on a slight incline, and it hops no matter how little throttle I give it.
I get nasty hippitty hop hop radio goes out when playing a CD in the rain wheel hop. It's FWD, they all do it. My friends RSX does it worse because he's got little 15 inch rims and those spin so much easier and faster.
