ok guys listen to this one. i met this kid the other night, he has an 05 yellow ss/sc. he has no lsd or anything fancy like that from the factory. he told me the other night that he went 12.8 in the 1/4 mile, and i was impressed! i asked him wut he had done. and alls he has is an intese 2.9 pulley aem intake and a civic like fart can on the back with all stock piping. thats it!! then i automaticly called bullshit! but then 10 ppl confirmed it. i asked him to brong slips next time he goes out. i wanna kno wut u guys think about this. although those ppl did say that was his first run of the night and afterwards he couldnt break 13.2's so i was juss wondering wut yall thought bout that. i think im gunna run him to call his b/s!!

 

B.S. He's talking about the 1/8th mile, or he's hiding a 75 shot.

Quite impressive, If true. It could be the elevation. Tofu ran the 1000' in a time that most mid to low 13 sec. cars run, and all he has is mounts, K&N intake, 3" pulley, and I think colder spark plugs. He is almost at sea level.

Sounds a little fishy to me. Although I've ran some decent times w/ my mods there is no way my car is capable of low 13's in the 1/4 mile without some kind of DRs or slicks. So even though he has a .1 smaller pulley...I don't think that will justify him running what he did on street tires. Did you ask him what his '60ft was or his trap speed? Maybe his car was stripped lol.

 

Wait he only has the Intense pulley, not the Intense injectors and MAF-T? Now I'm thinking BS.

yeah, if someones gonna make up a BS 1/4 mile time, I doubt they'd take the time to make up the rest of the slip too. If you ask them about their 60', 1/8th, 1000', they'll have to think about it for a second or two. I dont buy it, theres gotta be more to it than that.

 

Yea I met that guy on r37 one nite. I think his name was Rudy. It was me and my friend bs'in at Wawa when this yellow SS pulls up sayin how he just beat a Z06. My friend who drives a 500whp EVO wanted to run him rite there, but we knew he was full of ****. Nolimitzss06, that must have been you I raced a few weeks ago over by BlueClaws when I missed 3rd and almost blew my engine?

 

yea bro that was me over at blueclaws! and u dont kno how bad a cringed wen i heard u miss that gear. i almost cried!!! but yea that kids name is rudy i seen him tonite and he had the slip with him. now with the mods i said up top and on street tires(stock pirellis) his slip did say 12.8 1/4 mile. he had a .123 or .132 reaction time and a 1.7 something 60ft. i dont remember the trap speed but i do believe it was over 104. now if the slip is his or not i dont kno. but if it really is good looks to him, im gunna run him next weekend, couldnt do it tonite i was a lil tipsy from the bar!! lol and maybe i'll see u out there again so we can get a good run in

 

Yea I have always had a problem with 3rd gear in this car. That kid must have one hell of a factory freak or that is not his slip.

 

That 60ft seems low on stock tires w/only those mods listed. I'd still have to call BS and say that it was someone elses slip.

 

Why doesn't lock this ridiculous thread, anyone with common sense knows that's total BS.

 

definately either a timing system error.(happened to me) or complete BS, nobody will EVER cut that good of a 60' on stock tires.
